Crystal Amezquita has been working in the medical field since 2008. Crystal began their career as a Certified Medical Assistant at Centennial Pediatrics in 2008. In 2011, they moved to Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a Referral Coordinator. In 2013, they returned to Heritage Medical Associates as a Certified Medical Assistant. Crystal then worked at Tennessee Voices for Children from 2014-2017 as a Family Support Specialist, where they provided support and advocacy, modeled how to build collaborative relationships with providers, assisted in navigating systems and connecting with necessary services, facilitated the development of the Child and Family Team, and provided care coordination. Finally, they returned to Heritage Medical Associates in 2020 where they currently work as a Medical Assistant.
Crystal Amezquita obtained an Associate's Degree in Social Work and Psychology from Nashville State Community College between 2009 and 2012. Crystal also obtained an Associate's Degree in Medical/Clinical Assistant from National College of Business and Technology-Nashville between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, they are a Certified Family Support Specialist from NAMI.
