Katie Copeland

Katie Copeland is currently the Nursing Director at Heritage Medical Associates. Katie has been in the nursing field for over 30 years, with experience as a registered nurse, practice manager, interim quality coordinator, and RN. Katie has been instrumental in leading the conversion from paper charts to EMR systems and establishing new coding standards. Under their direction, Heritage Medical Associates has maintained high employee satisfaction ratings and achieved excellent quality scores.

Katie Copeland completed a Diploma of Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing and is certified as a Registered Nurse (RN) from the Georgia Board of Nursing. Katie also holds a certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders as a Certified Professional Coder.
