Alyssa Lubbers

Alyssa Lubbers possesses extensive experience in education and leadership roles, currently serving as the Head of Lower School and Director of Technology at Heritage Preparatory School since August 2016. Prior to this, Alyssa worked as a Relief House Parent for Winshape Homes and as a Substitute Teacher through Kelly Services. Alyssa's international experience includes leading teams as a World Racer for Adventures in Missions, where involvement spanned 11 countries and various humanitarian efforts. Alyssa was a 2012 Mississippi Delta Corps Member with Teach For America, primarily teaching 3rd grade and ESL. Additional roles include Minister to Children at Calvary Baptist Church and Community Engagement Program Associate at Bonner Center for Community Engagement. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Berry College and a Master's of Education in Elementary Education from Delta State University.
