John Weichel

John Weichel currently serves as the Director of Operations and Classroom Teacher at Heritage Preparatory School since July 2022. Prior experience includes a series of engineering roles at GE Power from July 2019 to July 2022, where responsibilities spanned from combustion product services to component system integration, focusing on risk quantification and process design for gas turbine repairs. Earlier experience as an Application Engineer Intern at Baker Hughes involved developing and analyzing drilling data to enhance future drilling methods. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science from North Carolina State University, along with a Master of Divinity and ongoing Doctor of Philosophy at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
