Elizabeth Yankello

Elizabeth Yankello, RN, CPN, CMPE has a strong background in healthcare management and nursing. Elizabeth currently holds two roles at Heritage Valley Health System, including Director of Provider Practice Operations and Regional Director of Heritage Valley Pediatrics. Before joining Heritage Valley, they were the Director of Practice Management at UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics. Elizabeth also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Medical Practice Executive at Sewickley Valley Pediatrics for over 19 years. Elizabeth has extensive experience in all aspects of medical practice management, including business operations, financial management, human resources, legal management, patient care systems, and information management. Elizabeth is knowledgeable in healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA. Elizabeth has also been involved in quality assurance initiatives and attestation for Meaningful Use. Elizabeth began their career as an RN and Clinical Manager at Sewickley Valley Pediatrics in 1985.

Elizabeth Yankello, RN, CPN, CMPE has a certificate in Legal Nurse Consulting from Kaplan University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2000. Elizabeth also holds a degree in Nursing from Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing, which they earned from 1982 to 1985. Additionally, they completed their high school education at Quaker Valley High School from 1979 to 1982. Elizabeth has obtained several additional certifications throughout their career, including being Board Certified through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (CMPE) in 2017, obtaining the Certified Medical Practice Executive certification in 2017, and becoming a Certified Pediatric Nurse in 1998.
