Tiffany Ewing has worked in various roles within the health information management field. Tiffany is currently an Evaluator for the BSHIM Program at Western Governors University since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director and Manager of Health Information Management at Heritage Valley Health System from 2018 onwards. Tiffany also worked as an MPI Specialist/Analyst at the same organization from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, Tiffany served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Cincinnati starting in 2022. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Supervisory Health Information Technician-Medical Record Compliance & Processing at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from 2020 to 2022 and as an MPI Specialist for Heritage Valley Health Systems at Questeq from 2018 to 2019. Tiffany started their career as a Restorative Care Aide at The Verland Foundation from 2004 to 2018.
Tiffany Ewing holds a Master of Science degree in Health Informatics from the University of Cincinnati, which was obtained in 2022. Prior to their master's, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator from the University of Cincinnati in 2021. Tiffany'seducation journey started with an Associates of Science degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician from the Community College of Allegheny County, earned in 2019. In addition to their academic achievements, Tiffany Ewing has obtained certifications such as "Building Resilience as a Leader" and "Communicating in the Language of Leadership" through LinkedIn. Tiffany is also a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and holds the certification of Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), both awarded by AHIMA.
