Jay Tillotson is an accomplished landscape designer and horticulturist with extensive experience in the field. Currently, Jay serves as the Owner of Deep Roots Design since March 2023 and has also been a Landscape Designer at Hermes Landscaping since October 2020. Prior roles include working as a Horticulturist at the Kansas City Zoo, Owner and Lead Designer at Deep Roots Design, LLC, and Grower at Welby Gardens. Additional experience includes positions as a Design Assistant at Curtis Manning Design and various roles at Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage. Jay holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Horticulture from Front Range Community College and has studied at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
