Alexander Bortel

Alexander Bortel currently serves as Geschäftsführer and Chief Financial Officer at Hermes Germany GmbH, overseeing finance, controlling, legal and data protection, compliance, internal audit, corporate security, real estate, procurement, and cultural change since June 2019. Earlier experience includes project leadership and consulting at Otto Group, with a focus on strategic projects in Russia. Bortel holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt from ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, and a B.A. in European Business from Dublin City University.
