Ulf Steuding

Ulf Steuding has extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ulf started their career as a production employee at DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE GmbH & Co. KG in 1992. Ulf then worked as a taxi driver before joining the Technische Universität Braunschweig as a scientific employee, where they conducted trainings and participated in biological research projects.

In 1996, Ulf became a software developer at Informationstechnik Zentrum Köln GmbH before joining Deutsche Post und DHL in 1998 as an IT project manager. Ulf was responsible for managing internet portal platforms and personal administrative systems. Ulf also served as an application developer and project manager in the field of personnel management during their time at Deutsche Post und DHL.

From 2007 to 2017, Ulf worked as IT-Leiter and Technical Program Manager at baumarkt direkt GmbH & Co KG, where they led the selection and implementation of new ERP systems. Ulf was also responsible for developing the company's IT system architecture and selecting additional software products.

In 2018, Ulf Steuding was appointed as a project manager at Bauck GmbH, where they oversaw the selection and implementation of a new ERP system in the food manufacturing industry. Ulf also introduced a tool for business process modeling.

In 2020, Ulf joined BRUSS Sealing Systems GmbH as a project manager, leading the international implementation of the SAP S/4HANA ERP system.

Currently, Ulf Steuding is working at Hermes Germany GmbH as a Senior IT Project Lead. Their responsibilities include modernizing parts of the IT architecture, implementing an IT security management program, and managing cross-functional dependencies.

Throughout their career, Ulf has demonstrated their expertise in project management, IT infrastructure development, ERP system implementation, and business process optimization across different industries.

Ulf Steuding obtained their Diplom degree in Mathematics from Technische Universität Braunschweig, which they completed between 1985 and 1992. In 1994, they pursued a Fortbildung zum "EDV-Fachmann Mikrocomputer" at the Institut für Angewandte Mikroelektronik (IAM) in Braunschweig. Ulf Steuding also holds additional certifications, including OMG Certified UML Professional from OMG in 2007, and Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) from TÜV Süd Akademie GmbH in 2006.
