Austin Kolegraff

Austin Kolegraff is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as an Aerothermal Engineer II at Hermeus since November 2023. Previously, Austin held multiple positions at United Launch Alliance (ULA) from June 2021 to October 2023, including Propulsion Engineer II, where responsibilities included the design of cryogenic propulsion systems for the Vulcan Development project, and Avionics System Engineer II, focusing on telemetry integration for NASA's Artemis I and Artemis II missions. Austin also worked as a System Engineer at Special Aerospace Services/SAS Flight Factory during the same time span as at ULA. Earlier experience includes serving as an Engineering Technician at Jennings Aeronautics, Inc., and a Parts Tester at iFixit, where quality assurance for consumer products was a key responsibility. Austin’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
