Matt Evans, PGA has extensive experience in the golf industry. Matt began their career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Hermitage Country Club in 2001 and continued in that role until 2006. From 2007 to 2008, they served as the First Assistant Golf Professional at Atlanta National Golf Club, where they successfully organized corporate, charity, and member-sponsored outings.

In 2008, Evans became the Head Golf Professional at The King and Prince Golf and Beach Resort, managing a staff of eight and overseeing 200 members. During their tenure, they hosted resort guests and group play, administered tournament functions, and conducted market analysis of local play rates.

Since 2011, Evans has been back at Hermitage Country Club, initially as an Assistant Golf Professional and later promoted to First Assistant Golf Professional. Currently, they hold the position of Head Golf Professional, responsible for providing outstanding service and continuous new golf opportunities. Matt manages a budget of $600k and a team of five Assistant Golf Professionals and 15 outside staff employees. Additionally, they organize and hosts a wide range of golf events, including leagues, tournaments, corporate and charity outings, association events, and instructional programs for juniors.

Matt Evans, PGA pursued their higher education from 1996 to 2001 at Coastal Carolina University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a specialization in Marketing.
