Benny Nielsen

Benny Nielsen has extensive experience in leadership and management within the water and environmental sectors. Currently a Member of the Board at Skanderborg Forsyning a/s and Skanderborg Vandsamarbejde since January 2018, Benny also serves as Afdelingschef for Plan & Projekt at Herning Vand, overseeing investment planning, budget management, and construction projects since February 2012. Previous roles include Board Member at Miljøforum Midtjylland and Regionschef for Vand og Miljø at COWI A/S, where Benny focused on business development in water and environmental consulting. Benny's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership and advanced leadership training, complemented by an M.Bc in Mechanical Engineering from the Engineering College of Aarhus.
