Apul Nayyar

Apul Nayyar has extensive experience in the financial industry, holding executive positions at various companies. Apul currently serves as the Executive Director & CEO of Hero Housing Finance since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Head Of Retail Banking at IDFC FIRST Bank from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they worked at Capital First Limited as the Executive Director from 2016 to 2018 and as the CEO of Consumer and SME Business from 2010 to 2016. Apul also served as the Executive Director & CEO at IIFL (India Infoline Group) from 2007 to 2010 and as the Co CEO of Consumer Business at DSP Merrill Lynch Limited from 2006 to 2007. At Citigroup, Apul held various roles including Head of Mortgage Business from 2005 to 2006, Head of Treasury from 2002 to 2005, and Financial Controller from 1998 to 2002. Apul started their career at KPMG in the Senior Assurance Division from 1997 to 1998.
