Tulika Sonthalia

Tulika Sonthalia has a diverse and extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. Tulika currently holds the position of Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Hero Housing Finance, a role they have held since January 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Business Head - Strategic Alliances at IDFC FIRST Bank from February 2018 to December 2019.

Before joining IDFC FIRST Bank, Tulika held various roles at DBS Bank from June 2011 to December 2017. These roles included Vice President Corporate Banking and Head - Business Planning & Performance Management.

Tulika'searlier experiences include positions at HSBC, where they served as Vice President in various capacities such as Channels & Business Development, Unsecured Loans, and Strategy & Planning - Mortgages from 2006 to 2011. Prior to HSBC, they worked at Citifinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd from 2001 to 2006, holding the positions of Head- Special Care Division and Head- Personal Loans- Mumbai.

Tulika's career started at Citifinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd in 1999 as a Relationship Manager for Auto Loans.

Tulika Sonthalia completed their Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) from Bombay International School between 1981 and 1991. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree (BCom) in Accounting and Finance from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics in Mumbai, India, from 1993 to 1996. Later, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing & Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, from 1997 to 1999.
