Varun Sharma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in vehicle regulations, homologation, and electric vehicle policies. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Vehicle Regulations & Homologation at Hero MotoCorp since February 2019, Varun leads initiatives related to electric vehicle regulations and policy affairs. Previous roles include Manager at Hero MotoCorp, where responsibilities encompassed electric vehicle regulations and participation in regulatory formulation activities through industry forums. Varun also held positions at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., including Assistant Manager in the Certification and Regulations team, and at CNH Industrial as Senior Engineer specializing in vehicle homologation and testing. Varun holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Srinagar, obtained in 2010.
