Gregg Hagopian

Head Of Electrical Engineering at Hero

Gregg Hagopian has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Gregg started their career as an Electrical Engineering Assistant at MIT Bates Linear Accelerator Center, where they implemented a cost-effective method of data acquisition and improved the quality of electron beam run in a particle accelerator. Later, at Ardence, they worked as an XP Embedded Consultant and built customized customer Windows XP Embedded images.

Gregg then joined Schneider Electric as a Software Engineering Co-op, where they wrote networking protocol decoder scripts and designed a Windows C++ application to test hardware via a serial port. At MagneMotion, Inc., they served as an Electrical Engineer and was the primary member in charge of a new product line. Gregg wrote and supported test software and provided support for CE and Military EMC testing.

Following this, Gregg joined QinetiQ North America as a Staff Electrical Engineer. During their time there, they designed and captured schematics, developed a part database for Altium Designer, and built and maintained a website for creating Altium Library parts. Currently, Gregg works at Hero as the Head of Electrical Engineering. Gregg has taken the electrical design from concept to production, handling all electronic responsibilities and serving as the sole embedded software developer for a significant portion of the design process.

Gregg Hagopian attended Waltham High School from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they did not obtain a specific degree or specialize in any field of study. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Northeastern University from 2002 to 2007. At Northeastern University, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.
