Gianna Fontana

Gianna Fontana has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gianna currently holds the position of Managing Director at Heron Agency, where they started in June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Account Director at the same company from October 2019 to July 2022, and as a Publicist from August 2018 to September 2019.

Before joining Heron Agency, Fontana served as the Director of Marketing and Media/Salon Manager at Blown Away Blowdry & Beauty Bar from June 2016 to June 2018.

Fontana's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism from Columbia College Chicago, obtained from August 2013 to May 2017. During their time at the college, they completed relevant coursework in magazine writing and editing, fashion design principles, entertainment law, and media ethics and law, among others.

Gianna has also held various internships and part-time positions. Fontana worked as a Style Guru Intern at CollegeFashionista from April 2015 to September 2016, producing fashion and beauty-related content. Additionally, they served as a Lead Coordinator at Life Time - Healthy Way of Life for a brief period in June 2016, managing staff and retail sales performance.

Fontana has also gained experience in sales and customer service roles, working as a Barista at Starbucks from March 2016 to August 2016, and as a Sales Associate at Calypso St. Barth from February 2016 to June 2016.

Earlier in their career, Fontana worked as a Writer/Editor at Gianna'sCampus Media from August 2015 to March 2016, producing weekly articles and overseeing contributors. Gianna also served as an Editorial Assistant Intern at Michigan Avenue Magazine from September 2015 to December 2015, and held multiple roles at Blowtique, including Front Desk Receptionist from October 2014 to December 2015, and Director of Social Media from June 2015 to November 2015.

Gianna Fontana began their education at Lake Park High School from 2009 to 2013. Gianna then attended Columbia College Chicago from 2013 to 2017, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Multimedia Journalism.
