Edward Oparaoji

Edward Oparaoji, PharmD has over 18 years of experience as a Field Medical Affairs leader and Director of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) in various therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Cardio-renal, Cardiometabolic, CNS, Immunology, Infectious Disease, and more. Edward has successfully launched multiple products and built teams from scratch. With their hybrid function as an Associate Director of MSL at Boehringer Ingelheim, they also assisted the in-house strategy team in developing engagement strategies and tactics for field-based teams. Edward has also held various leadership roles at Horizon Medical Solutions, Publicis/SOS Group, Shire Pharmaceuticals, Cline Davis & Mann, Sanofi - Synthelabo (now Sanofi-Aventis), and sanofi-aventis Pharmaceutical. Prior to their industry experience, Edward served as a Pharmacy Professor of Critical Care at Howard University. Throughout their career, Edward has developed and enhanced relationships with scientific experts, facilitated medical expert and institution relationships development, and ensured strategic alignment and flawless execution of objectives.

Edward Oparaoji, PharmD, obtained their degree in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota in 1995, after completing their education from 1983 to 1995.
