Constantinos Kalogiannis has a strong background in sales and engineering. From August 2010 to May 2019, they worked at HERON, first as a B2B Sales Manager and then as a Sales Director. In their role as B2B Sales Manager, they oversaw the B2B Sales Department and managed important accounts, including high voltage customers, medium voltage customers, and retail chain stores. Constantinos analyzed energy data, negotiated contracts, and identified new sales opportunities. Prior to that, from November 2005 to May 2010, they worked at Altec S.A as an Electrical and Computer Engineer, where they gained expertise in the field.
Constantinos Kalogiannis completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 2005. Constantinos then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Energy Production & Management from the same university, which they successfully obtained in 2009. The focus of their studies during both degrees was on various aspects of energy, including its production, transport, distribution, and utilization of electric energy.

HERON is active in the generation, supply and trading of Electricity, as well as in the supply and trading of Natural Gas in Greece. Having started its operations in 2000, it is now supported by the GEK TERNA Group, the leader in Energy Production from conventional and renewable (RES) sources in Greece, who also founded HERON. HERON was the first private Group to operate in the Greek liberalized electricity market, as well as the first Private Group to operate in the Natural Gas market in Greece. HERON constructed and has successfully been operating the first private Natural Gas fired power plant in Greece since 2004 (HERON I). Since 2009, HERON also operates a combined cycle thermoelectric power plant in Thiva (HERON II), reaching a total installed capacity of 582 MW.
