Shawn Lafontaine

Shawn Lafontaine is a Deputy Project Engineer at Héroux-Devtek since July 2022, bringing extensive experience from CAE where a Senior Technical Professional - Product Owner role was held from January 2011 to July 2022. Responsibilities included leading a multidisciplinary team through various project phases, coordinating on-site integration for flight deck systems, and supporting APU and engine model development for the MRJ aircraft. Earlier experience includes roles as a Technical Professional at CAE, where integration testing and troubleshooting were performed on-site in Japan, and as a co-op student at Pratt & Whitney Canada in both technical support and quality specialist capacities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke and additional courses in System Reliability and Safety and Machining of Aerospace Alloys from Polytechnique Montréal.
