Mark Bierwirth

Mark Bierwirth is a seasoned contract and financial manager with extensive experience in military and project management roles. Currently serving as a Contract Manager at Herren Associates since March 2022, Mark oversees a substantial portfolio of contracting efforts for defense projects, including an $85 million contract for the Navy. Prior to this, Mark was with ICI Services Corporation as a Financial and Project Manager, and held various key positions at the US Navy, culminating in financial leadership roles, training coordination for multi-service exercises, and liaison duties that strengthened interdepartmental relationships. Mark's prior experience includes working with the Missile Defense Agency, managing technical collaborations with international allies, and serving as a Combat Systems/Weapons Officer in the U.S. Navy. Mark holds an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business and a BS in Marketing from Jacksonville University.
