Joerg Schwietale

Joerg Schwietale is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and engineering, currently serving as Managing Director and Technical Director at Herrenknecht AG since April 2021. Prior to this role, Joerg held positions at Parker Hannifin as Plant Manager and at Felss Rotaform GmbH as Manager of Production. Additional experience includes managerial roles at Feinmess Suhl, Alcan, and Mahle, where responsibilities ranged from senior process engineering to project management and plant management. Joerg holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Berufsakademie Loerrach, obtained between 1992 and 1995, and has notable expertise in setting up production plants, exemplified by the preparation for a facility in Michigan for valve guides and valve seat insert rings.
