Jared D. Newman

Jared Newman is a partner in Herrick’s Litigation Department. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with a specific concentration in real estate and construction litigation.

Jared has developed substantial experience representing owners, developers, contractors, and hospitality clients in a broad range of matters, including disputes concerning commercial leases, construction management agreements, condominium development, mechanic’s liens, purchase and sale agreements, license and access agreements, matters brought by the Human Rights Commission against owners, and a wide array of other matters particular to the real estate ownership, development, and construction industries.

Jared is also an active member of Herrick’s Employment Group, advising clients on a variety of employment related issues in the workplace, including general counseling and risk management.

Prior to joining Herrick, Jared was at Pryor Cashman LLP.
