Cassie Burgess

Cassie Burgess has extensive experience in educational leadership within the Herrin Community Unit School District #4, serving as Assistant Superintendent since July 2015, Principal from August 2010 to May 2015, and Assistant Principal from August 2006 to May 2010. Prior to these roles, Cassie Burgess was an Assistant Principal at Marion CUSD 2 School District for the 2005-2006 academic year and a Third Grade Teacher at Marion CUSD #2 from August 1997 to May 2005. Cassie Burgess holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration and Supervision from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale (2001-2003) and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the same institution (1991-1996).
