Petrit H. is an experienced application engineer currently working at Herrmann Ultrasonics since October 2022. Previously, Petrit served as an Applications & Product Engineer at H.A. Phillips from May 2018 to June 2022, where responsibilities included maintaining product design integrity and providing technical application support for valves and accessories. Petrit also gained valuable experience as a Career Services Intern at Northern Illinois University from August 2014 to May 2018, assisting approximately 20,000 students with career-related services. Additionally, Petrit completed an HVAC internship with Plano School District 88 in the summer of 2017, where shadowing and hands-on maintenance tasks were performed across multiple schools. Petrit holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University, earned in 2018.

Ultrasonic welding of nonferrous metals, such as copper and aluminum, is an established joining technology and is suitable for many applications in the fields of automotive, consumer products and electronics industry.
