Herron Classical Schools is a community of scholars that advances timeless ideas and content, builds a culture of respect and trust, and engages in an urban environment in order to prepare students to be world-class citizens.

We are founded on the belief that a classical, liberal arts education, where students are steeped in great historical thought and invention, is the best preparation for a future life of leadership and service. We are structured around an art history timeline which emphasizes the classic art and literature of many cultures.

Herron Classical Schools is a network of three tuition-free public charter schools, Herron High School, Herron-Riverside High School, and Herron Preparatory Academy. Within each of our schools, we envision a racially and socio-economically diverse student body.

The Leadership Team at Herron Classical Schools is responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and diverse educational environment. Comprising the President, Vice President & Chief Development Officer, Chief of Police, and Chief Operating Officer, the team works collaboratively to advance the school's mission by integrating classical education principles, enhancing community relations, overseeing security protocols, and managing day-to-day operations across all three campuses.

Leadership Team

The Marketing and Communications team at Herron Classical Schools develops and executes strategies to promote the school's mission and values to a diverse audience. This includes managing public relations, engaging with the community, overseeing donor communications, and creating marketing campaigns to enhance the school's visibility and reputation. Through these efforts, the team supports student recruitment, community engagement, and donor relations to ensure the school’s growth and success.
