Erich Rose

Erich Rose has a diverse and extensive work experience in the zoological and entertainment industry. Erich has worked in various leadership roles for organizations such as Herschend Family Entertainment, where they served as the Senior Vice President for Zoological Advancement and was responsible for developing policy, programs, and partnerships related to animal conservation. Erich also worked as Vice President & Executive Director for Herschend Family Entertainment for over 13 years.

In addition, Erich has been actively involved in the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Erich currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors, where they contribute to advancing the profession of zoo and aquarium management and promotes the AZA's role in species conservation and animal welfare.

Furthermore, Erich has held leadership roles in other organizations related to the travel and convention industry. Erich served as the Vice Chairman of the Northern Kentucky Convention Center Corporation and was the Chairman of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association.

Erich's early career started at SeaWorld Orlando, where they worked as an Aquarist. Erich later joined Walt Disney World as a Senior Biologist and Business Manager.

Throughout their career, Erich has demonstrated their expertise in managing zoological facilities, developing conservation programs, and collaborating with industry partners.

Erich Rose obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from the Florida Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1983 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College from 2000 to 2002.
