Matthew Tivnan

Matthew Tivnan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew began their career as a Marketing Intern at Big Sisters of Rhode Island in 2009. Matthew then worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Sage Hospitality from November 2010 to July 2011 before transitioning to Midas Hospitality, LLC as a Sales Manager from July 2011 to January 2012. Matthew then joined Hersha Hospitality Management in January 2012 as a Senior Sales Manager, where they stayed until August 2015. Matthew then moved to Colwen Hotels, where they served as a Director of Sales from August 2015 to February 2018. Matthew returned to Hersha Hospitality Management in February 2018 and took on the role of Director of Sales until October 2022. Matthew currently holds the position of Area Director of Sales at Hersha Hospitality Management. Overall, Matthew has accumulated a wealth of experience in sales and marketing roles, demonstrating their versatility and adaptability in the hospitality industry.

Matthew Tivnan attended Bryant University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. During their time at Bryant University, they also pursued double minors in Political Science and Literary and Cultural Studies. Prior to attending Bryant University, Matthew Tivnan completed their high school education at Burncoat Senior High School from 2002 to 2006.
