Marianne Daris

Marianne Daris has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and control. Marianne started their career in 2011 as a Finance & Control Professional at FiN en het goede gevoel van finance. During their time there, they worked as an Interim Professional for various clients including DLL, Ahrend, and Philips.

After that, they had a role at Administratiekantoor Daris where they worked part-time, assisting the owner with automation and work backlog. Marianne also helped with financial statement preparation for small organizations.

In 2012, Marianne worked as a Teamlead Finance a.i. at Ahrend, where they handled month closing, reporting, auditing, and customs controls. Marianne also played a part in the relocation of the financial department to create a shared service center.

Marianne then joined Philips as a Sales Controller Lifestyle Entertainment Benelux a.i. in 2013. In addition to their sales controlling duties, they were involved in the transfer of the business unit from Philips to Funai.

In 2015, Marianne worked as an Assistant Group Controller at XPO Logistics Europe, and in 2016 they served as a Senior Financial Controller a.i. at DLL. Marianne also worked as a Finance Controller a.i. at Ahrend during the same year.

From 2016 to 2020, Marianne worked as an Interim Professional Finance at FiN - Het goede gevoel van finance.

Marianne'smost recent role is as a Business Controller at Hertek, which they started in 2019.

Marianne Daris began their education journey in 2005 at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics in 2009. In 2009, they also pursued General and Business English at EF English Live in Oxford.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Marianne enrolled at Maastricht University in 2012, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting & Control. Marianne successfully completed their master's program in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Marianne also obtained a certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt - theoretisch. The institution from which they received this certification is The Lean Six Sigma Company.
