Emma Thorpe

Emma Thorpe is an experienced professional in sports management and homelessness prevention. Currently serving as a Homelessness Prevention Officer at Hertfordshire County Council since August 2020, Emma previously held the position of Gymnastics Club Manager at Affinity Gymnastics Limited from September 2009 to July 2023. In this role, Emma managed a large membership base and supervised a team of 24 staff across multiple locations, overseeing coaching and support services, staff training, and event planning. Emma also contributed to British Gymnastics at a national level and specialized in coaching gymnasts of various ages. Additionally, Emma worked as a Candidate Attraction Specialist for Independent Clinical Services for a brief period in 2020, focusing on recruiting apprentices for early careers. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention from Middlesex University.
