Keith Harwood

Keith Harwood is an experienced engineer with a specialized focus on bridges and structures. Currently serving as the Head of Profession for Bridges and Structures at Hertfordshire County Council since October 2012, Keith has also maintained a long-standing role as an Associate and Bridge Engineer at Arup since April 2001. Previous experience includes managing the Arup-WCC Partnership and leading bridge maintenance at Warwickshire County Council from 1998 to 2013, as well as working as a Senior Engineer in Infrastructure at Arup Botswana between 1990 and 1995. Keith holds a Master of Arts in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, earned between 1979 and 1982, and completed secondary education at Windsor Grammar School from 1971 to 1978.
