Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts is a seasoned public servant with extensive experience in local government and community leadership. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Hertfordshire & West Essex Integrated Care System Partnership Board since 2020, Richard has held several pivotal roles at Hertfordshire County Council since 2003, including Leader, Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board, and Cabinet Member for various departments where notable contributions include supporting care providers during the Covid-19 pandemic and implementing a prevention strategy alongside health centre expansions. Additional roles include Ambassador for Hertfordshire Community Foundation and Trustee for Community Action Dacorum, among others. Richard's educational background includes a BSc in Geology from The University of Sheffield and an MSc in Environmental Studies from the University of Strathclyde.
