Scott Crudgington

Scott Crudgington is an experienced executive in public sector management, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director of Resources at Hertfordshire County Council since April 2019. Previously held positions include Interim Chief Executive and Director of Resources at the same council, and Chief Executive, Strategic Director of Resources, Assistant Chief Executive (Finance), Head of Finance, and Corporate Projects Accountant at Stevenage Borough Council over nearly two decades. Scott has also been a School Governor at Bedwell Primary School and a Board Member at Stevenage Leisure Limited. Initial career experience includes working as a Computer Audit Manager at the London Borough of Redbridge. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Warwick Business School, an additional MBA focused on Global Information Management from the University of Mannheim, and a CIPFA qualification in Accounting and Finance from Anglia Ruskin University.
