Harvey Patterson

Harvey Patterson has extensive work experience in local government. Harvey started their career as the Head of Legal Services at Chiltern District Council in 2000 and held the position until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Head of Legal & Democratic Services at Thanet District Council, where they were responsible for Legal Services and Member, Committee, and Electoral Services. Harvey then became the Corporate & Regulatory Services Manager at Thanet District Council from 2011 to 2014, overseeing Legal Services, Member and Committee Services, Electoral Services, and other departments. Since 2014, Harvey Patterson has been with Hertsmere Borough Council, first as the Interim Head of Legal Services and later as the Head of Legal & Democratic Services.

Harvey Patterson attended the University of Kent from 1978 to 1981, where they pursued a BA (Hons) degree in Law. Following this, they completed their Soliciors Final Examination at City of London Polytechnic.
