Silva has also held the position of Fleet and Maintenance Director at Hertz Rent a Car since January 2001, contributing to the operations of multiple car rental brands globally. Educationally, Silva holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a Post Graduation in Accounting and Finance from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
