Moana Yoon

MOANA (Jinhee) YOON is a highly experienced data scientist with a strong background in atmospheric sciences and climate data analysis. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Hertz since October 2025, MOANA has previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Nexon America, where significant contributions included leading a strategic LLM Translation project and directing LLMOps research. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at TensorIoT Inc., where MOANA developed advanced forecasting models, and research positions at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Hanyang University, focused on climate data analysis and ocean dynamics. MOANA holds a PhD candidate status in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Climate Science and Oceanography from Seoul National University.
