Russell Podmore has extensive experience in sales and marketing leadership within the car rental industry, currently serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for Hertz International since 2013. In this role, Russell oversees EMEA sales and marketing, focusing on multi-month and small business segments while implementing strategies for standardizing branding and enhancing customer loyalty programs. Prior to Hertz, Russell held various leadership positions at Avis Budget Group from 1992 to 2013, including Director of Customer Loyalty and National Revenue Sales Manager, where Russell led sales performance, customer experience initiatives, and employee training programs across Canada. Russell's educational background includes studies at York University and St John's in Leatherhead.
