Tim Burell

Tim Burell is a seasoned professional in security and law enforcement with over three decades of experience. Currently serving as Corporate Security Manager at Hertz since March 2017, Tim implements strategies to safeguard company assets and investigate various crimes. Prior to this role, Tim worked for the Sandy Springs Police from July 2008 to March 2017 as a Police Officer III, focusing on community relations and crime investigation. Tim also held the position of Police Sergeant at MARTA Police Department from May 1992 to July 2008, supervising 30 officers and managing operational duties. Earlier in Tim's career, between May 1986 and April 1991, as a Patrol Officer for the City of Doraville, responsibilities included responding to service calls and conducting criminal investigations. Tim holds an Associate's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from North Georgia Technical College and is currently pursuing further education at Liberty University.
