Mel White

Mel White has extensive experience in security and public safety, currently serving as the Manager of Corporate Physical Security at SRI International since October 2004, with responsibilities including the design and programming of security systems compliant with Intelligence Community standards. Prior roles include Security Professional III and Physical Security System Administrator at SRI International, overseeing access control and intrusion detection systems. Mel's background also encompasses residential real estate appraisal with Atlas Appraisal and roles in public safety with the City of Sunnyvale and City of Los Angeles, as well as firefighting with the Orange County Fire Department. Mel holds a BS in Criminal Justice from Florida Metropolitan University and an AA in General Studies from Orange Coast College.
