Herzl Camp
Michael Arato, the Director of Program Innovation, oversees the overall camp program, ensuring ample opportunities for camper participation and growth. Michael also focuses on staff engagement, enjoyment, and success.
Michael comes from Beber Camp, where he was a longtime summer staff member and served as Division Leader, CIT Leader, Director of Staff Life, Counselor, and Waterfront Specialist. He also worked at Camp Ben Frankel as its Director of Imagination, helping to develop and lead Zoom-based camp programming in 2020. Michael is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he was an Eminence Fellow.
