Lynell James

Lynell James is an experienced program manager and financial trainer currently serving as the Program Manager for Student Enrollment & Access Initiatives at Rutgers Global since July 2024. With a strong background in financial aid, Lynell has held key positions at HESAA, providing financial aid awareness training and financial literacy sessions in New Jersey since September 2018. Previously, Lynell worked at Rutgers University–New Brunswick for nearly nine years, where responsibilities included overseeing financial aid programs and managing substantial grant budgets. Additionally, Lynell has experience as a special education instructional assistant and recreation assistant, demonstrating a commitment to education and support for diverse populations. Lynell is pursuing a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies at Rutgers University, building on a robust educational foundation that includes two Bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology and French Language and Literature.
