Phillip Scarborough

Phillip Scarborough is an experienced professional in drilling engineering, currently serving as the Drilling Engineering Manager for Hess Corporation in the Gulf of Mexico since June 2012. Scarborough has a strong track record of managing the maturation of wells, overseeing drilling design, and implementing new technologies to enhance performance. Before this role, Scarborough held positions as a Senior Drilling Engineer and Drilling Advisor, successfully maturing multiple exploration prospects and supporting drilling operations in Guyana and Suriname. Scarborough also has hands-on experience as a drilling supervisor and field engineer in deepwater projects, alongside earlier internships at Cameron and the Defense Contract Management Agency. Scarborough holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
