Richard Lau

Richard Lau is a seasoned subsea reliability engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently working for Hess Corporation since November 2021. Prior to this role, Richard served as a subsea project engineer at Manatee, Inc., where responsibilities included flowline commissioning for the Thunder Horse South Expansion 2 Project. Richard’s experience spans various positions at companies such as Wood, PERC Engineering, and Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas, focusing on subsea engineering, installation, and project management for major companies including BP and Chevron. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained in 2004.
