David Morton is an experienced National Facilities and Sustainability Manager with a strong background in developing and implementing strategies related to property facilities, workplace health and safety (WHS), and sustainability. Currently employed at HESTA since August 2013, David has previously held similar roles in a private company and served as a Board Member for Access Docklands, promoting sustainable transport. David has also worked with VicUrban as ICT, Facilities and Office Manager and contributed to the itSM Forum as a Victorian Committee Member. An academic background includes a Master of Environmental and Business Management from the University of Newcastle and other qualifications in carbon accounting, workplace health and safety, and sustainability. David is currently furthering education at UC San Diego, focusing on behavior change strategies for sustainability.
