Awaneesh Verma

Awaneesh Verma has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biosciences industry. Awaneesh is currently a Senior Manager at Hester Biosciences Limited, where they head the Production department in the Human Vaccine Division. Prior to this, they worked as a Production Manager at Chiron Behring from February 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Chiron Behring, Awaneesh worked at Zydus Cadila for several years. Awaneesh started as a Scientific Officer in August 2008 and was promoted to Senior Scientific Officer in April 2011. From April 2014 to February 2020, they held the positions of Assistant Manager and Senior Executive, where they successfully completed clinical trials and played a key role in the launch of the Teravalent Influenza vaccine in the Indian market. Awaneesh also handled technology transfer and scale-up of vaccine manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines. Throughout their tenure at Zydus Cadila, Awaneesh demonstrated their expertise and knowledge in the field.

Awaneesh Verma pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry from CSJM University Kanpur, which took place from 2005 to 2007.
