Sjoera Nas

Sjoera Nas is a seasoned privacy professional with extensive experience in data protection and legal advisory roles. Currently serving as a Senior Privacy Adviser at Privacy Company and a part-time Data Protection Officer for multiple organizations including Het Juridisch Loket, Nuffic, and Huis voor Klokkenluiders, Sjoera specializes in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Human Rights Impact Assessments (HRIAs), and Data Transfer Impact Assessments (DTIAs). Sjoera also contributes to academia as a guest lecturer at the Amsterdam Institute for Information Law and has held various board and advisory positions in organizations such as Freedom Internet and Stichting NLnet Labs. Sjoera holds a Master of Arts degree in modern history from the University of Amsterdam and has further education from the Language Institute Regina Coeli.
