Marie Asano

Marie Asano serves as a Partner and Principal at the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF) since January 2021. Currently, Marie holds multiple board roles, including Board Observer at Heura Foods and Nuritas, along with a Board Member position at MOGU and INAM. Additionally, Marie is involved with the German Federal Ministry for Economics and Climate Action as a member of the EXIST Expert Advisory Board, supporting the commercialization of scientific research. Previous experience includes board positions at Aphea.Bio, Kumovis, and DualYX BV, with a focus on innovative therapies and medical applications. Marie's educational background includes an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs and dual Ph.D. degrees in Polymer Science and Chemistry from Université de Bordeaux and University of Liège, respectively, along with multiple Master’s degrees in Advanced Materials Science.
