Lubos Kratochvil

Lubos Kratochvil has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lubos most recently held the role of Group CFO at Heureka Group, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Provident Financial s.r.o. (IPF) where they held various positions, including Finance Director and Head of Finance. In these roles, Lubos managed numerous teams and was responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, reporting, commercial finance, treasury, procurement, business intelligence, and more. Before joining IPF, Lubos worked as the Director of Finance for CZ&SK at UPC Ceska republika, a subsidiary of Liberty Global. Lubos also gained valuable experience at Ernst & Young, where they served as a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services and an Audit Senior. Throughout their career, Lubos has demonstrated strong leadership and financial expertise in areas such as financial evaluation, profitability analysis, business strategy, and M&A.

Lubos Kratochvil has a strong educational background in accounting, finance, and related fields. Lubos obtained their Master's Degree in Finance and Accounting from Prague University of Economics and Business, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Lubos also has a professional certification from The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), specifically the FCCA (Fellow of the ACCA) designation. Lubos completed the FCCA program from 2005 to 2008, focusing on accounting (IFRS), finance, IT, HR, and law.

In addition to their formal education, Lubos has obtained several certifications related to leadership and critical thinking. These certifications were acquired from LinkedIn and include courses such as "Leading with Purpose," "Critical Thinking for More Effective Communication," "Developing a Critical Thinking Mindset," "Using Questions to Foster Critical Thinking and Curiosity," "Building Your Visibility as a Leader," "Critical Thinking," "Critical Thinking and Problem Solving," and "Leading at a Distance." It is worth noting that Lubos Kratochvil also obtained the FCCA certification from the ACCA.
