Michal Buzek

Michal Buzek has a strong background in data and analytics, with their most recent position being Chief Data Officer at Heureka Group since October 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Strategist at MONETA Money Bank from February 2017 to September 2017.

Michal gained significant experience during their long tenure at Seznam.cz, where they held multiple roles. Michal started as a Business analyst in September 2007 and later became the Head of the analytical department from September 2010 to January 2017. In this role, they managed two teams, conducted market and user research, and was responsible for business intelligence and data integration. Michal also acted as a product manager for the internal web analytical tool, overseeing reporting and analysis for business managers and sales representatives. Michal utilized various tools such as GoodData, Keboola Connection, Tableau, and an internal tool called Reporter.

Michal Buzek attended the University of Finance and Administration in Prague where they obtained their degree in Podniková ekonomika a management in 2007. Michal earned the title of "Inženýr (Ing.)" upon completion of their studies.
