Christopher Butcher

Christopher Butcher is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in aligning technology with business strategy and managing technical teams. As the Principal at Heuristic Solutions, LLC since November 1996, Christopher oversees the technical staff, develops methodology documentation, and guides the organization's strategic focus. Previously, as a vCTO for both Compass Group (2007-2010) and Cato Institute (2006-2009), Christopher played a key role in implementing communication tools for improved effectiveness in distributed environments. Additionally, Christopher served as Treasurer for Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington from 2005 to 2007 and was a member of the Washington Executives Association in 2009. Academic credentials include an M.Div. from Yale University (1991-1994) and a B.A. in Religion and South Asian Studies from Carleton College (1985-1990).
